What is a hard phone?

A hard phone (or hardware phone) is a dedicated desk handset (VoIP or traditional) designed for reliable, high-quality voice communication. These are typically used most in labs, clinics and shops for various safety reasons across different room uses. 

How can I order a hard phone? 

If a UF department finds a competitive price for hard phones outside of UFIT's vendors, the price must match our support level from Cisco included in our pricing, i.e., RMA, troubleshooting, etc.
