Audio Descriptions

Audio descriptions are a separate audio track added to a video that provides a narrated description of important visual elements in the video. Adding audio descriptions to videos is essential to making that content accessible to those with visual impairments. In conjunction with captioning, audio descriptions make videos more accessible for all users. 

Adding Audio Descriptions to Presentations in MyMediasite

Audio descriptions can now be added to any presentations you own in MyMediasite. Please note that only the .MP3 file format is supported at this time.

1. Navigate to the presentation you would like to add audio descriptions to in MyMediasite. Once you have selected the presentation, click Edit Details.                                             
      
2. Select Delivery, then check the Audio Descriptions box in the list of options.;
3. Once the Audio Descriptions box is checked, click Select a File, upload your audio description track, and click Save.
