AI Foundations (Certificate Program)

AI Foundations certificate is a program for those interested in learning and acquiring knowledge and skills in AI from how to adopt different AI tools for work, how to maximize the capability of AI text generators, how to construct appropriate prompts (inputs) for desired outputs, and how to use AI image generators to expand your creativity.

This certificate program consists of three self-paced courses. All three courses are required to obtain the certificate. To obtain the certificate you will have to register through the AI Foundations Certification curriculum (or click on Register above). Once all three courses are completed, the AI Foundations Certificate will be issued to your account in myTraining in the "Training Transcript" section.

• AI Image Generators 
  • Master AI tools like Bing Image Creator, Adobe Express, and Adobe Photoshop for image creation and editing. You will see in detail how different AI image generators function, as well as the drawbacks and benefits of each tool.
  • Time commitment: Approx. 1.5 hours

• Prompt Engineering: Working with AI Text Generators and AI Image Generators 
  • Learn to write effective prompts to generate and create precise prompts using AI tools such as GPT-3 and DALL-E.
  • Time commitment: Approx 1.0 hours

• AI Tools in the Workplace
  • Learn about UF-approved AI tools: NaviGator Chat and UF GPT Microsoft Copilot
  • Time commitment: Approx 15 minutes
