Ryan Yang
Associate Director, Teaching and Learning Technology
Ryan is responsible for strategic direction of the CITT, Learning Analytics, Assessment Technology Services, and Learning Space & A/V Design. With almost two decades of experience supporting faculty in applying emerging educational technologies, Ryan is passionate about creating learning experience that are effective and engaging for the learners. Prior to joining University of Florida, Ryan was Associate Director of Academic Information Technology at Michigan State University (MSU) where he led efforts ranging from digital accessibility, instructional design, education technology systems, classroom A/V design, and serve on the leadership team at MSU’s Hub for Innovation in Learning and Technology. Ryan has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Information Technology from MSU.
Anchalee Phataralaoha
IT Training Team Lead
With an extensive background in learning and development in higher ed Anchalee enjoys collaborating with subject-matter-experts to develop training programs. With her decades of experience in marketing and IT before joining UF, she has a unique perspective and approach to training. She teaches Qualtrics and provides survey consultations to faculty, staff and graduate students. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, swimming, and taking MOOC courses to learn a thing or two.
Tammy Barber
Education/Training Specialist
Tammy has a background in education and educational leadership. She has experience as an educator, curriculum creator, learning coach, and trainer. Tammy provides training for Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and UF’s event calendar. During her free time, she enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with family. She is happy to consult with the UF community to assist as needed.
Hongyan Yang
Education/Training Specialist
Hongyan has a strong background in educational technology and online learning. She holds a Ph.D. in Learning, Design and Technology. Hongyan provides training for Zoom, GIMP, Clipchamp, Microsoft Forms and Google Forms. She is passionate about exploring and experimenting with new technology tools. In her free time, she enjoys photography, working out, biking, playing tennis, and traveling with her family.
