The UFIT Help Desk’s Thesis and Dissertation Support Center provides help to graduate students during the process of formatting their Thesis or Dissertation according to the Graduate Editorial Office’s guidelines. We also provide and maintain Templates for graduate students to use in the production of their document in both MS Word and LaTeX formats.
Schedule an online appointment with one of our trained T&D Consultants, get a document review via email, request your document be converted to PDF, ask a question, or request a guest speaker.
Please ensure that you are familiar with the template prior to constructing your Thesis or Dissertation. Please note that all services are online and we do not offer in-person assistance.

MS Word & LaTeX Templates
The Thesis Dissertation Support Center maintains templates for MS Word and LaTeX to make adhering to the Graduate Editorial Office Publication Standards a little easier. Please note while you can imitate the template, that the styles and environments in these templates are hard to recreate on ones own. Click here to access templates.

Online Tutorials
We have a variety of tutorials for you, ranging from template overview to formatting tables and figures. It is our recommendation that when you download the template for the first time, you watch the “MS Word Template Instructions” to understand how it works
