Web Services supports the UF homepage (ufl.edu) in addition to other critical path sites. These sites represent the university and act as a conduit to other UF Web sites. The critical path sites are often the first impression of UF for many people including high-leverage individuals such as potential donors, students, faculty or staff as well as legislators, peer reviewers, and others. Our goal is to maintain the high quality of web presence for the University of Florida as a flagship university. Because the UF homepage is an emergency communication channel, we coordinate with the official UF disaster and crisis teams on an on-going basis. Web Services also provides expertise and outreach by assisting clients in creating sites that are accessible and adhere to the standards set forth by the IT Policy Committee.
