ResShield (FISMA)

UF Research Shield (also called ResShield) was developed in order to protect research data that is classified as restricted data, which means that the data is governed by laws, regulations, and/or contracts. ResShield serves as a secure storage and processing center that can support university projects requiring a secure, FISMA compliant environment. The environment complies with the NIST 800-53 rev4 "moderate" classification.
