Mark McCallister


Mark McCallister is the Director of Academic Technology at the University of Florida, where he has served over 30 years in various academic technology roles. He is currently responsible for the teaching & learning, A.V. and I.T. user support services provided through UF’s Information Technology division, serving on the UF Vice President and CIO’s IT senior leadership team.

Mr. McCallister has served as president and board of directors member of what is now the Educational Technology Collaborative, and on the board of directors of the Unizin consortium. Mark has presented on learning space and academic technology topics nationally and internationally, and was an invited keynote speaker at the 2012 Learning Space Design Summit in Sydney, Australia. Mark currently contributes to a number of higher education professional organizations such as Educause and Unizin, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, and has completed coursework toward a doctoral degree in educational technology.
