June 26th Update:  Recording of the June 24th Training session has been posted at TeamDynamix Documentation.

UF Information Technology (UFIT) is transitioning to TeamDynamix as the enterprise IT ticketing system in Summer 2024.

TeamDynamix offers UF a refreshed user interface along with years of successful experience in higher education, providing a robust ticket and service management product for large peer institutions with complex, distributed IT environments. UFIT is confident that the TeamDynamix service is nimble enough to evolve as the changing technical support needs of the university change and grow.

Training for system administrators began in March 2024, and broader training opportunities will be held in June, before the system’s go live.  Training will be announced on UFIT News and on UFIT’s training calendar. In the meantime, TeamDynamix overview videos are posted below.

Anyone with questions about the migration to TeamDynamix is welcome to contact UFIT’s service management team (itsm-team@ufl.edu).

TeamDynamix is a cloud-based platform that provides a centralized platform for customers to find services and submit requests through the web interface.  Technicians within the system will be able to easily track work and communications through ticket completion.  Future opportunities include integrations with other IT systems, a knowledgebase for end users, and integrated project management.

Starting in June, we will begin retiring Cherwell (our old ticketing system) and begin to use TeamDynamix. We will be transitioning tickets from Cherwell to TeamDynamix to maintain access to historical information.
