From AT&T Centrex analog lines, calls to UF VoIP must use 10 digits:
- Dial 9 + 352 + 7 digit number
UF Health / Shands Calls
Dial 5 + 5-digit extension + 7 digit (273, 294, 392 and 846) numbers
Local Off-Campus Calls
From the Cisco VoIP System local area calls can be placed with either 7 or 10 digits:
- Dial 9 + 7 digit number
- Dial 9 + 352 + 7 digit number
From AT&T analog lines, all local calls must use 10 digits:
- Dial 9 + 352 + 7 digit number
Long Distance Calls
Dial 9 + 1 + Area Code + 7 digit number
International Calls
Dial 9 + 011 + country code + city code (if applicable) + phone number.
An International Calling Code Directory (including long distance with the US), is available on line and offered by American Computer Resources, Inc.
Remote Sites
Remote sites and offices not located in Gainesville share the UF dial-plan, while also providing internal 5-digit dialing:
- Phones in a remote site can reach the other phones within the same site by dialing 1 + Last 4-Digits of the listed number.
- For example, a phone in a remote site with number (555)555-0111 can short-dial another number in that site such as (555)555-0123 by dialing 10123
- Remote sites are also able to reach UF Gainesville numbers by dialing their last 5-digits, as per the 'On-Campus Calls' section above.On-Campus Calls
