HOW ARE VIRUS NOTIFICATIONS DISPERSED?

All virus notifications for all units go to everyone. In order to include Macs and off-domain PC's in email notifications regarding unresolved infections, an all-or-nothing approach was required.

Using TMCM as the method of deploying notifications is the only way to include Macs and off-domain PCs. Unfortunately, there is no granularity in setting who receives which notifications as there is in OSCE.

REQUIREMENTS FOR UNIT DISTRIBUTION LIST USED FOR TREND NOTIFICATIONS

TMCM is not considered “part of the organization” by Exchange, so units will need to make the following modification in the “delivery management” section of the settings in the Exchange Admin Center for the group they selected to use for Trend notifications …..

Select “Senders inside and outside of my organization”

Add the “. UFEM-DoNotReply” distribution group (UFEM-DoNotReply@mail.ufl.edu)
